David Farley (Bass guitar, Band Leader, President of Orchestra Thirty Three Entertainment)

Dave oversees all aspects of the organization and provides a direct link between the orchestra and its clientele. In 1988, Dave brought the Ruperts 33 Orchestra out of the club scene and into the social party scene with the introduction of The Orchestra 33. His experience, professionalism and even temperament ensure continued success for years to come.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Northern Illinois University.

Pamela Rose (Lead Vocalist)

Pam has been with The Orchestra 33 for over six years, bringing an incredible combination of singing and dancing to the stage. As an active SAG/AFTRA jingle singer, Pam has recorded numerous radio and television spots for such companies as McDonalds and Carrier. Her live performance and studio recording credentials include Richard Marx (Capitol) and Josie Aiello (Quest), and she teaches private voice instruction at Stevenson H.S. in Lincolnshire.

Pam toured the U.S. and Europe for six seasons as a dancer with the Chicago Honey Bears. That experience led to the creation of Mystique Productions ( www.bookmystique.com ), a phenomenal entertainment dance company based in Chicago of which Pam is co-owner. It is the combining of Mystique Productions and Orchestra Thirty Three Entertainment that has resulted in the inter-active dance party extravaganza Party Gras.

Pam earned her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Music Business/Vocal Performance from Elmhurst College.

Evan Rea (Piano, Keyboards)

Evan has been playing piano and keyboards with The Orchestra 33 since 1995. While at Northern Illinois University, Evan received his Bachelor of Music in Music Performance and took top honors in the prestigious concerto competition. His writing abilities earned him the best composition award at the Notre Dame Jazz Festival.

A veteran of several touring Broadway musicals, Evan has performed in Mama Mia, Beauty and the Beast and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is currently performing in 'Wicked' and is the music director for American Girl in Chicago. His abilities as a writer and player are showcased in the popular jazz funk group Big Roy (www.bigroy.com), a group he leads and created.

Scot Ashley (Guitar)

Scot has been The Orchestra 33's guitarist since the beginning of time. He plays a major role in the sound of the orchestra and his contribution cannot be overstated. Another bloke from N.I.U.!

Phil Brines (Drums)

When longtime Orchestra 33 drummer Todd Sucherman earned the opportunity to play with Styx on the Return To Paradise tour, he immediately called upon his friend Phil Brines to cover the chair. Phil had established himself as one of Indianaplolis' top studio and jobbing drummers, and Todd knew he was up to the task. Right he was. Phil's experience during undergraduate work at the Berklee College of Music and at Ball State University prepared him for a multitude of opportunities, and when Todd made the move in 1998 to L.A., Phil made the move to Chicago and became a permanent member of The Orchestra 33.

Doug Schuler (Trumpet, Flugelhorn)

Doug is the newest member of the orchestra (3 years), but not at all new to the Chicago music scene. His well-known and respected reputation as a player is based on his performance experience at numerous shows and events. Doug is currently enrolled in the Graduate Trumpet Studies program at Northeastern Illinois University and completed his undergraduate work at Vander Cook College of Music.

Doug also builds a fine piece of wood furniture!

David Polk (Tenor Saxophone, Flute)

Dave has been with The Orchestra 33 for over a dozen years. He studied privately with Joe Daly and Hobert Grimes, and attended North Texas State University. The David Polk Project showcases his writing and playing abilities and the band has two releases to date. Check out "Wide Open" at www.davidpolk.com and get ready to groove.

Dave is always eager to share his opinion with anyone on sports and politics.

Gary Tipps (Alto Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone, Flute & Clarinet)

Gary has been with The Orchestra 33/Ruperts 33 Club Orchestra since 1983. Much of the time has been spent herding 7 th and 8 th graders in one musical direction! Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree from Northern Illinois University, and belongs to just about every professional music and education association known to man. One word sums up Gary: stability.

Barbara Farley (Violin)

Barb is an original member of the Ruperts 33 Club Orchestra and just happens to be married to the luckiest guy in the world. Barb's performing credentials cover a wide variety of engagements, from touring with Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra to performing with the backstage orchestra at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. As a teacher, both private and in the schools, Barb has over twenty years combined experience at Roosevelt University's Chicago Musical College and Wheaton College's Community School of the Arts.

Higher education for Barb began at St. Olaf College and concluded at Roosevelt University with a Bachelor and Master of Music Performance degree.

Domnica Lungu (Violin)

In earlier times under communist Romanian rule, Domnica could only dream of playing popular music in a dance orchestra environment. Soon after earning a Master of Music Performance degree from the Conservatory of Music in Bucharest, she and her husband came to America bringing with them only their talent and dreams. Based on her experience with the Romanian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Sinfonietta Chamber Orchestra, Domnica diligently established herself as a performer with the likes of Orchestra of Illinois, Symphony II Orchestra, Ravinia Festival Orchestra, Lake Forest Symphony, American Ballet Orchestra, and since 1991, The Orchestra 33. As a teacher, Domnica teaches privately at home and at the Wheaton College Community School of the Arts.
