The musical performance is our finished product. And our success
begins with hard working men and women who transport, set-up and
tear-down the stage, operate the sound equipment, arrange the music,
prepare the mailings, answer the phones and take care of the many
details behind the scene.
It may come as a surprise to some that
The Orchestra 33 employs a sound technician for every engagement.
Honestly, we would not have it any other way. We believe the
sound quality coming through the public address system is equally
as important as the quality of performance onstage.
Bill Hawkins has been with Orchestra Thirty Three Entertainment
for more than a decade. His technical and artistic abilities as
sound engineer (and invisible background vocalist) are an integral
part of the final product.
Bill studied Audio Engineering while earning his BM in Music
Business (Voice) from Elmhurst College and soon began in-house corporate
audio and video work for major hotels in the Chicago area.
With The Orchestra 33, Bill is responsible for making the sound
just right. And when teamed up with top quality professional audio gear, the
results are a great sounding orchestra and a very happy client.
While not behind the audio board, Bill is a Senior Network Analyst
for the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation in Chicago.
Jeremiah Kellogg and Sergio Gomez comprise our competent and reliable
set-up/tear-down crew. They know the in and out of every major
venue in the area and enthusiastically embrace the ‘whatever
it takes’ attitude to ensure a complete set-up and sound
check long before your guests arrive.
